Welcome to Desert City Prep, Home of the Sun Bears. Our mission here at Desert City is to provide maximum exposure while creating a platform that will build positive characteristics in young men. Desert City provides a National schedule filled with the best players from around the world. Our goal is to create an environment which will demand growth on and off the court. Our school will provide student athletes the opportunity to develop their skills on a college based schedule. We believe in creating superior sons, brothers, friends, husbands, students, athletes, and all around outstanding human beings; that will impact the world. We are on a mission to build the world next

FOUNDER
My name is Jayvon Brown, also known as Coach JB the founder of Desert City Prep Program. I established this program to construct a platform for student athletes to help reach their highest potentials.
Desert City Prep is designed to develop student athlete and push them to pursue basketball at the collegiate and professional level. The courses that we provide are powered through the NCAA Certification. Premier Online offer full support to ensure student athlete are eligible to attend prestigious institutions after graduation.
Academia is extremely important to achieve a position here at Desert City Prep. Desert requires a consistent grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Intense Training Approach
Desert City Coaching staff consist of trainers that pushes our kids to be unnervingly proficient. The workout regiment that we created will develop our athletes mentally, physically & emotionally. We want our athletes to excel and be ready for the national spotlight. Our athletes will become comfortable with being uncomfortable.

The notebook is MANDATORY, if you leave your notebook don’t come to practice.

Consequences will be for the whole team. The team is accountable for everyone to have their notebook.

College Based School Schedule
Desert City Prep prides ourself on creating a college based school schedule. The school schedule creates a college atmosphere which will help our student athlete preparation for college.
Although basketball is a major focus for us, our goal is to advance our athletes to the next level and prepare them for adversity. We strive for resilient and earnest students. Preparation is a key component for success at the highest level.
